Saving damaged impellers and cases for only $45.00!
As the impeller bearings fail, the impeller will start to move laterally in
and out of the casing. The impeller does not have to go far before it will
hit the casing - and the results of this can be seen in the photos below.
These scratches and scrapes need to be resurfaced if you are ever to get the
rebuilt supercharger back to former performance levels.
Our resurfacing process will smooth these off, and leave an excellent
cross-hatched surface that provide optimum turbulence levels for maximum
output.
Not all scratches can be surfaced out - some deep gouges cannot be corrected
- your 928 Motorsports tech will guide you if this should turn out to be the
case.
