The Pikes Peak International "Race to the Clouds" Hill Climb. 12 miles, 156 turns, 2000 foot drop-offs, no guardrails.
2007 was the first time EVER that a Porsche 928 had competed in this, the world’s Number 1 ranked Hill Climb, against an International field of Factory and Privateer efforts. We won 3rd place in the "Open" Division, where such racing legends as Al and Bobby Unser, Wally Dallenback, Mario Andretti, and others have placed their stamp. It was a difficult, amazing, and completely worth-it experience for my crew and myself – and we hope to return to try to do even better next year.
