Our special self-fusing silicone tape can make a lot of old wiring harnesses last a little longer. When the rubber boots and wiring looms become old and crack, the wire inside is now exposed to moisture and ozone degradation.
This 928 Motorsports self-fusing tape molds to itself at room temperature to form a new "rubber" boot or loom, all in one piece and absolutely watertight.
Can be applied in temps from 70° to 100° F, and once installed, withstands temps from -76° to +392° F. Naturally resistant to oils and most chemicals. Tape is 1 inch wide and each roll is 30 feet long.
