FITMENT NOTE: Some very early 928s have a bolt-in battery box, (1977, early 1978) instead of the normal welded-in battery box. These early cars may need to make a minor (less than 1 inch) trim to one corner of the battery box to prevent rattling of the exhaust pipe against the body.
