There are a lot of "Porsche" oil filter sandwich plates out there - but most will not fit the Porsche® 928 V8 block because of all the casting flanges and crankcase bolts that are in the way (see picture below).
This oil plate is specifically designed to fit around all the obstructions the 928 has without any modification to your motor.

You may continue to use the stock oil filters after this is installed.
