Application: Porsche® 928 all years, all models
The Problem: The stock front spring mounts are cast iron with cast rubber attachments. They are heavy, and the rubber is cracking and failing as it ages. Further, when fitted with our high-performance Hypercoil spring kit, some owners wish they could lower the vehicle more or carry taller springs in the front when racing. This part solves all of those problems.
The Solution: Our billet aluminum front spring mount replaces the cast iron-and-rubber part and:
- allows the racer to lower their car up to 2 more inches with Hypercoils, or:
- allows the use of a longer 10" front spring
- allows for greater shock travel before "bottoming"
- saves 5 pounds of weight off of the front of the car.
Quality Made: We mill these spring mounts from 6061 T-6 aluminum and then send them off to be hard-coated for corrosion resistance and lasting good looks. We also supply all new mounting studs with each kit.
Suggestion: This product is an excellent add-on to vehicles with our Hypercoil Performance Spring kit. Works perfectly!
