The Problem: You need hood pins for your project. But you dont want to look like everybody else, you dont want big ol' bumps sticking into the airstream, and the competition rules require an all-metal hood latch. And you remember how fun it was looking for your pins the last time you pulled them out, but lanyards are out of the question..

The Solution: Our recessed hood pin buckets drop the hood latch below the surface of the hood, out of the airstream. The latch uses a captive slide so the pins never come out and get lost. All the parts are metal - the buckets are aluminum, the pins are steel, and the latches are stainless steel; so passing Tech is no problem.

Two Types of Buckets: The buckets are available in either black powder-coated finish or natural aluminum, as shown.
