A Porsche® 928 Car Show

Payment on this item will pre-register you for the Porsche® 928 Car Show scheduled for Monday, September 18th, 2006

SPACE IS LIMITED - We are limiting car show registration to the first 50 Porsche® 928 entrants. Do not delay - registration at the car show will be crowded, and will cost you $15 per car (instead of $10 here).
LOCATION: The Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center, Joliet, IL 815-729-2000
The Car Show is in Joliet, Illinois, about 45 minutes from Chicago and about 1.5 hours from St. Louis. Just off I-55 and I-80. Easy to get to from everywhere.
The Holiday Inn has blocked us off a wing of rooms under the name "928 Motorsports" and is selling Kings or Doubles to Participants for only $89.99 a night. The Hotel has a pool, a restaurant, and is only 3 minutes from Harrah's Casino, and 3 miles from the Autobahn Race Track for the Driver's School.
We also have one end of the Parking Lot reserved just for 928 Parking.
DESCRIPTION: This is a 928 Convention and car show with the emphasis on fun. It is organized and run by Connie McNabb of our staff, and experienced car show manager.
Our focus it to "keep it light" and friendly, a simple car show for patrons and fans of the Porsche® 928.
Trophies will be awarded for these classes:
- Best Stock 16v 928
- Best Stock 32v 928
- Best Modified 16v 928
- Best Modified 32v 928
- Best in Show
- Longest Distance Traveled
Participant Voting means participants vote for any vehicle but their own in each class. Please contact Carl at carl@928motorsports.com if you have any questions.
EVENT SCHEDULE:

Holiday Inn Hotel and Joliet Convention Center
2:00 to 3:00 PM Setup and registration for the Car Show
All vehicles taking part in the show, must be registered before 3:00 p.m.
3:00 to 5:00 PM: "928s at the Autobahn" Car Show
5:00 PM Trophies awarded
5:00 to 7:30 Break for Dinner
7:30 to 8:30 "What to expect at the Autobahn" by Carl Fausett
In the Heritage Room of the Holiday Inn
Tech Inspection for track participants will be pre-viewed, along with "How to select the right Run Group for You"; The Track Event schedule, and a Q&A period
8:30 Break for free-time. Harrah's Casino is just down the street!
OTHER ACTIVITIES: You do not have to put a car in the show to attend!
This is a "free admission" event, so bring the family! If you just want to show up and enjoy the good times and not put a car in the show - come on down. We all want to see you.
