Application: Porsche® 928 1978-95 all
Description: The top of the front shock absorbers are held in rubber on the 928 - isolating road vibrations from the frame for a smooth ride. The problem comes when the 928 is in the hands of the Performance-Minded Driver - then the rubber upper shock mounts keeps the shock absorber from reacting as quickly as it could or should. The rubber mount must load up first, before the shock absorber can react to the suspension movement.
Under severe cornering loads, the rubber may even fail allowing the shock to push up through the mount (see photo below from our Pikes Peak 928)!
Benefits: Our billet aluminum shock mounts are a bolt-in swap, and they will transfer all suspension movement immediately to the shock absorber - so you get the best performance from your shocks possible.
928 Motorsports Quality: Each shock top is expertly machined from a single 6061 aluminum alloy billet, then hard-coated for good looks and oxidation resistance.
Price is per pair.
