The Problem: The 3-wire connectors on your Porsche® ignition timing sensors and throttle position sensors were made from a molded material that becomes brittle and crumbles under heat and ozone.
These are found on all Porsche® 928, 944 and 951 at the flywheel pickup sensor wires, and on Automatic-transmission equipped cars at the thottle kick-down switch.
If your Porsche® has a mis-fire or a no-start condition, check the 3-wire connector coming out of the flywheel sensor. If, on an automatic transmission equipped car, you do not downshift promptly upon WOT, also check the 3-wire connection at the kick-down switch.
The Solution: Our weathertight connection is a permanent solution to these problems. By replacing both sides of the connector with a new, hi-temp and waterproof connector - the faulty, intermittent connection can be put down for ever.
Kit includes: 1 female side, 1 male side, and 6 connectors to crimp onto the wires. Enough to replace one complete 3-wire connection.
