2006 Events
928's on the Autobahn
I think 2006 will be exciting!
Our Porsche® 928 has a new 5.0 liter motor, steel cylinder sleeves, forged pistons, and will be running 14 psi of boost from a gear-driven intercooled supercharger.
In addition, we have added a new 2.2:1 final drive ratio transaxle, front and rear springs that are 300% stronger than last year, and front and rear sway bars that are 200% stiffer. Our brakes have been upgraded, and now we are running 335/35's on the rear (that's 13" of contact with the road on each side) and 315's in the front. We found another 140 pounds of vehicle weight to remove, too!
There is more, but that should give you an idea what the 450 HP, 2800 pound wide body will be like on the road racing circuits.
